BELSIL DM 10

BELSIL DM 10 is a linear, non-reactive, unmodified polydimethylsiloxane characterized by low surface tension and high spreading coefficient. As a dimethicone, BELSIL DM 10 has a flexible polymer backbone providing high permeability to gases like water vapor and oxygen, allowing skin respiration. These properties make BELSIL DM 10 widely used in formulations where it can impart a hydrophobic, protective yet breathable barrier to spread easily on the skin. BELSIL DM 10 reduces whitening and provides a soft emolliency, minimizing stickiness in personal care products.
