WACKER E 3157 is a nonionic oil-in-water-emulsion of a medium viscosity polydimethylsiloxane dispersed in water. It exhibits excellent wetting and spreading properties. WACKER E 3157 can easily be incorporated into cold-stirred formulations. It improves the heat resistance and reduces sensitivity to shear. WACKER E 3157 bestows good antiblocking properties making it resistant to mechanical stress and letting it glide over easily. WACKER E 3157 is suitable for formulations requiring these properties.
