Founded in 1909 and headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, DKS Co. Ltd. (formerly Dai-ichi Kogyo Seiyaku) is a listed specialty chemicals manufacturer. The company builds on proprietary interfacial and synthesis technologies. Its portfolio ranges from surfactants, including the polymerisable surfactant HITENOL, to sucrose esters, cellulose derivatives, polyurethane materials, UV-curable monomers and oligomers, flame retardants and materials for electronic devices.
